THE cHATHAM mOVEMENT

Just 23 years old from Buffalo, New York, Dean Chatham (born Jamerdon Dean) has made tremendous waves on the Buffalo Hip-Hop scene and beyond. He has opened for RAE SREMMURD, Trinidad James, Illa J, Gucci Mane and Ro James. Chatham's music can be described as high energy, yet smooth hip-hop with roots in jazz, disco and Neo-soul. His music is often likened to that of Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Jay-Z and Chance the Rapper. His performances resemble the energy of Michael Jackson, but rooted in MC'ing/hip-hop type dance. Dean graduated from Wake Forest University in 2017 with a B.S. degree in Communications and is currently living back in his hometown of Buffalo, NY frequently traveling across the country (and Canada) doing shows.
